Regrettably, we are not looking to hire anyone at the moment. We are a small company who works on our own ventures and projects while managing our small but loyal list of clients. As such, there isn’t a lot of cash flow to go around hiring everyone we want to.

But, if you think you have what it takes to be a part of the Hotcakes team, prove it. Send Andy an email at andy@hotcakesnewmedia.com and tell him why he should hire you. All resumes are kept on file so when the opportunity for growth presents itself, we are ready. Want to increase your chances? Here are a few tips:

• Personality is important! We are a close group of friends, and anyone who joins us should be ready to work hard, and party harder. We have a lot of fun, so don’t be a stick-in-the-mud.
• Be creative. And show it! We are a creative company after all.
• Be passionate. We love what we do, and so should you. You should be excited to be coming in to work.
• We have a desperate need for programmers who like to live on the edge. If all you do is keep recommending the “tried and true” CMS systems like Drupal, you should move along. We love exploring new web software, new tools and techniques, and being on the edge of new technology. Be ready to try new things, and be good at what you do.
• The more diversified you are, the better your chances. If you are a web programmer who also shoots and edits video, designs in Illustrator, and creates animation, let us know! Our projects vary greatly from one project to the next. If you can help in more than one area, you’ve increased your odds of us needing you.

2011 will be a big year for Hotcakes New Media. We hope to hire you soon.
